Pique Your Community’s Interest

In addition to seeing information about the events you choose to promote in your physical library or online, people can seek out programs they’re interested in with SignUp’s easy-to-use search and filter functionality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my library use SignUp to send event reminders to registrants via text message?

Yes! When patrons register for an event, they’ll have the option to choose whether they’d like to receive event reminders via email or text message — they’ll also get to select how many days prior to the event they’d like to receive that reminder message. Patrons can opt out of receiving future event reminders at any time. If desired, your SignUp administrators can turn off the reminder option altogether.

Can I use SignUp to limit early bird event registration to library card holders only?

Yes! Enabling authentication when you create a new event will require registrants to input library card details when registering. This will allow you to limit initial registration to cardholders only. Then, when you’re ready to open up registration to the masses, you can simply disable authentication for that event, which will remove card-related fields from the registration form going forward.
